After a first day of talks, posters and discussions, we warmly invite you to our Welcome Reception in the Congress Center. Let’s enjoy a view of the river Elbe alongside with drinks, snacks and socializing on our terrace. Depending on the weather conditions, the event will take place indoors or outdoors.

Our reviewers are invited to an organ concert at the famous Dresdner Frauenkirche. This event is free for reviewers. Non-reviewers may purchase tickets at a reduced fee at the conference site. Admission starts at 19:00. The Frauenkirche is located within 15 minutes walking distance from the Congress Center: Walk along the river in the direction of the old town, turn right into the street Münzgasse. After a short walk, the Frauenkirche will appear in your view.

Our students are invited to party at the traditional student club “Bärenzwinger”, located in parts of the old city fortress. Highlight of tonight’s party will be a concert by “Die letzte Instanz”. The Bärenzwinger is located within 18 minutes walking distance from the Congress Center: Walk along the Elbe river in the direction of the old town. Cross the street at Münzgasse but continue walking with the river in view, on the Brühlsche Terrassen. Walk past the Albertinum (see Stand-up Banquet), turn left into the park Brühlscher Garten. Notice: The club is located below garden level.

All attendees are invited to this informal reception for taste buds, eyes, and ears at Albertinum & Lipsiusbau. Albertinum & Lipsiusbau are two locations with very different atmospheres, separated only by a small park. Feel free to change between the two buildings in course of the evening, enjoy food and diverse entertainment, and do not miss a tour in Albertinum’s art gallery, presenting a fine collection of paintings and sculptures from the 19th to the 21st century. Albertinum & Lipsiusbau are located within 18 minutes walking distance from the Congress Center: Walk along the Elbe river in the direction of the old town. Cross the street at Münzgasse but continue walking on the side of the river, on the Brühlsche Terrassen until you reach your destination on your right. For a barrier-free entrance, pass the Frauenkirche (see Reviewer Event) and continue until Georg-Treu Platz on your left.
